How Do I Become A Member?
It’s as easy as just showing up! There is no membership review process, we accept you wherever you are on your writing journey. We recommend that you come to one meeting and, if you would like to join, you can pay your dues and be part of our newsletters as well as our paid-members only Facebook group.
When are your meetings?
Our season runs from September to May. Our all-members meetings are on the last Thursday of the month. We also have inner circles which are group writing meetings broken up into specific areas of interest, such as poetry and screen writing.
What are the yearly dues?
General membership is $40.00 a year or $30.00 for students with a valid student ID.
What happens during the meetings?
During most meetings, we talk about writing, about our goals and accomplishments or difficulties we’ve been having. We try to have an activity, such as critique night, or a speaker come in to offer new perspectives on writing. No matter what we do, we try to keep it engaging and helpful to you on your writing journey.
